About Rachel
Rachel Orselli, L.Ac., M.S.is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Rachel received her Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2003 from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.
Rachel has advanced her training with internships at the California Pacific Medical Center Rehabilitation and Stroke Center, and the Pou Ji Tang Reproductive Wellness Center in San Francisco. Rachel has focused her training in the area of addiction and mental health through work at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic –Auricular Detoxification program, and the CriHelp Residential Treatment facility in North Hollywood, California. Rachel holds an advanced certificate in the National Acupuncture Detox Association (NADA) protocol for the treatment of addictions.
Post Graduate advanced studies in reproductive medicine, orthopedics and pain management, digestive disorders, nutrition, and other chronic health conditions, has contributed to her successful private practice. She also completed advanced training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Rachel is a professional member of the American Acupuncture Council, the California State Oriental Medical Association (CSOMA), and the National Infertility Organization, RESOLVE.
Rachel has been in private practice since 2003, and has practiced acupuncture in San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angeles. Rachel incorporates her understanding of Eastern and Western Medicine into effective treatment plans for her patients using a wide range of techniques including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, lifestyle and nutritional advice.
